Dandy Headshots, located in Carmel, Indiana (within FocusOnStudio), is about photographing faces and nothing more — for professionals, businesses, models, actors, and entertainers throughout the Midwest. Ever get a headshot that just wasn’t working for you? Did the photographer only take a couple shots without taking the time to fine-tune the lighting, your poses, facial expressions, etc? It’s incredibly important to have a headshot you love and one that looks like you. Most importantly, it must sell YOU to your audience. You need to look GREAT, and that’s what I help you do.

Corporate Headshots for Business

Dandy Headshots is perfect for either an individual who needs to update their image or a small/mid-sized business that needs exceptional, affordable headshots for their staff. Whether it’s several people, or just one, I take the time to get to know my subject’s personality and features, and several images are taken to get the feel of each session. It’s incredibly important to find the right angles and poses for each person to capture their features best. This can make or break a shoot, and from the beginning to the final product, care is taken to assure your best look – from the initial greeting to the post-process/retouching aspect.

Models and Actors

If you’re a model, actor, or entertainer, you NEED a great headshot for your zed card, online presence, promotions, business cards, etc. And like a business headshot, you need to update your image regularly — ESPECIALLY when you’ve changed your look significantly. Agencies need to see the real you.

About Josh Humble, Photographer

A camera has been in my hand for 20+ years, and photographing the face has been a part of that journey while photographing other genres along the way.

While I got my start in Indianapolis, I moved to Fort Lauderdale in 1996, and worked with a variety of entertainers, media, publications, and photographers. In 2004, I relocated to Indianapolis, where I’ve photographed headshots for numerous individuals and businesses. In 2007, I began working with TKO Graphix as an in-house photographer and web developer, and since early 2015, I’ve focused exclusively on headshots and architecture, and I love every bit of both genres.

I also enjoy photographing landscapes and doing street photography — doing a lot of black & white phone photography, too, which can be viewed on Instagram.
